APPLICATION FORMS
Complete and submit one copy of Part 1 of the "Application for Visitor Visa" form for each person 18 years or older. If the purpose of your trip is to conduct business or have official meetings, you must also complete and submit one copy of Part 2 of the "Application for Visitor Visa" form for each person. The Part 2 form must be completed in English or French only. Complete and submit one copy of the Family Information form for each person 18 years or older. Application forms are free and can be obtained 24 hrs at the embassy.

INVITATION LETTER
If you are invited by a Canadian friend or a family relation submit an invitation letter from your host in Canada. The letter can be a fax or photocopy. It does not have to be certified or notarized. The letter should specify the name, address and telephone number of your host.
If you are invited by a Canadian company or organization to conduct business, submit an invitation letter from the host company in Canada. This letter should list the companies in Canada you plan to visit including a contact person, office address and telephone number. You must also submit a letter from your company in Russia identifying your position and length of time with the company, salary, and purpose of visit to Canada.

DOCUMENTS
- Submit a valid international travel passport for each person (it should be valid for 6 months at least). Children can be included in the passport of a parent.
- Submit two passport-sized black and white or colour photographs, not more than six months old, of each person applying. Group photographs are not acceptable. Write the first name of the person on the back of each photograph.
You can use photocopies of the forms. All forms are available in English, French or Russian. Part 1 can be completed in English, French, or Russian. Part 2 must be completed in English or French. You should submit all items indicated above together. Your host must send the invitation letter to you so that you can include it with your application. Invitation letters sent directly to the Embassy will be destroyed.

HOW TO APPLY
You can bring your application to the Visa Section of the Canadian Embassy in Moscow, send it by private courier or send it with someone else. We accept applications between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Monday to Friday (except Wednesday). Lunch time is between 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m.

IN PERSON APPLICATIONS
If you submit your application in person at the Visa Section of the Canadian Embassy in Moscow, we will provide a response to your application the same day. If necessary, you will be interviewed on the day of application and you will be informed at that time of any further requirements. If you request a single entry visa and your application is approved, we will issue a visa on the day of application. If you request a multiple entry visa and your application receives final approval, we will issue a visa ten working days after the day of application.

APPLICATIONS BY COURIER
If your application is submitted by someone else at the Visa Section of the Canadian Embassy in Moscow, that person will receive a letter stating on which date to return to the Embassy for a response. For a single entry visa, the date will be seven working days in the future and for a multiple entry visa, twelve working days. Responses are available between 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday (except Wednesday).

APPLICATION FEE
The Application Fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. The fee is charged for each passport submitted. Each passport requires one visa regardless of the number of people listed in the passport. Fees are subject to change without notice.
Single Entry Visa - CAN $75 (USD $50)
Multiple Entry Visa - CAN $150 (USD $100)
Work permission - CAN $150 (USD $100)

HOW TO PAY
The fee can be paid in Russian roubles cash, U.S. dollars cash or Canadian dollars cash if paid directly at the Visa Section of the Canadian Embassy in Moscow.
